Pre-Opening Snapshot

How it works...
IPOfn Pre-Opening Snapshot only covers NASDAQ IPOs that are priced and expected to trade that day. Quotes are updated to reflect market maker bids and asks BEFORE the issues begin trading.

We've organized the information to make it easy to track the stock. When the issues are waiting for quote information, they appear in gray. As soon as we start to receive pre-opening quotes, the stock moves to the "yellow mode" and will automatically move up to the top of the list. At this point you will see the greatest amount of activity. Once the stock starts to trade, it changes to green and drops to the bottom of the list, below the gray stocks.

The window of activity for these pre-opening quotes generally ranges between 20 and 30 minutes. Once they trade, all Snapshot quotes will terminate for the individual stocks and quotes become available to you via your traditional sources.
